The MT install is so easy. Change the 4-5 lines in the mt.cfg CHMOD the cgi's to 755 create a directory called db CHMOD the db and image directory to 777 run the mt-check.cgi and then the mt-load.cgi MT's installation guide reads a lot harder than it is.
