I know this is an old post, but i am having the same trouble. does anyone have solutions? I need to be able to create databases from a script and I can't seem to get it to work without first creating the db in cpanel. any new solutions?

wolvesb, could you include the script you used. I'm in need for a similar wrapper and it soounds like you had some success.
