I keep a Sitemeter box on my site, and I look at the Awstats reports too. I've noticed they're wildly different. Sitemeter reports the number of visits at my site as 7836 since my blog started back in 2002 on Blogger. Then in June 04 I got my first "real" host, and since then Awstats says I have had 21349 visits by 8753 unique visitors. What is the more reliable count? I am confused as to how they could be so different.
