The guys who created Apache web server have found a way to boost cgi-bin perl script speeds by 100x with mod_perl.

"Obviously, it depends on the script, but the hello.cgi script above ran at 7.3 requests per second as a CGI script and 243.0 requests per second with Apache::Registry."
Now the big question --- does TCH support Apache's mod_perl? If not, why? Seems like a win-win for all...
I know there are shared hosting providers that have this but I'd love to sign up a couple domains here at TCH based on the reviews, community & price/features.
