  2. Wow! Thanks for coming back so soon . I have checked the mt-author table and it seems like the authors / permissions came across ok. It looks like the passwords in the table are scrambled.. Anyway I will do as you say with regards to copying the queries... By the way I ran Mt-Check.cgi and go the following: "DBD::Pg (version >= 1.32) Either your server does not have DBD::Pg installed, the version that is installed is too old, or DBD::Pg requires another module that is not installed. DBI and DBD::Pg are required if you want to use the PostgreSQL database backend. Please consult the installation instructions for help in installing DBD::Pg. DBD::SQLite Your server does not have DBD::SQLite installed, or DBD::SQLite requires another module that is not installed. DBI and DBD::SQLite are required if you want to use the SQLite database backend. Please consult the installation instructions for help in installing DBD::SQLite." Does the above errors make any difference? By the way, where do I find the queries you spoke about. I have been looking at the tables using phpmyadmin in Cpanel You were right...! The MT Author table did not copy across correctly! How do I move the old to the new? Thanks Bernie You were right...! The MT Author table did not copy across correctly! 3. Thanks David, Nothing mentioned by support staff about migration issues. All my other apps: e.g. Vbulletin working well. The Blog site istself is running fine, so I assume the Propogation is OK. No defined errors in the browser: It only says "Invalid Login" Nothing in error logs. Whats interesting to me is the fact that when MT support went into the database, they did not find my latest authors but only earlier ones that I had created months before... Initially, MY MT installation was running on Server 90(RESELLER). Then it was moved to 101 (STARTERHOSTING) about 6 months ago (because of e-mail restrictions on 90). It was then moved back again to 90 this week because I could not add on subdomains... In this interim period there was an MT installation on 90 (OLD) and it seems to me that after the xfer that: 1. All the articles etc moved across properly but 2. The user rights remained as they were 6 months ago Is this possible?
  4. Hi, I recently asked TCH to move my account (with an MT installation in it) from server 101 to server 90. From Starter Hosting to Reseller All other installations seem to work ok (e.g. Vbulletin) but I am not able to log into the MT Publishing platform. I've been in touch with Six Apart and, though helpful, they don't seem to have any solution at the moment I was wondering if it didn't have someting to do with the fact that the 2 servers are perhaps setup differently? Thanks Bernie
