i was just suspended for SPAM also....
it seems that the Spam Police are taking a bit of a facist position of shoot first and ask questions later...i have been reading about AOL and its spam alert...according to the Policy herewithin, we could be deemed spammers erroneously and then charged with a 500 dollar admin penalty. This is a perfect example of turning good intention into a 500 pound monster. I disagree with the accusation of sending One email to friends in my address book and having AOL report me as a spammer...I have had to deal with this all day and all i got was a warning....
I am not a spammer and i am very concerned with TCH being so eager to lable one harmless email as spam to the point that they instantly shut me down. 1 email! I can understand spam policies but this is a NAZI apporach....and to reitterate...I am not a spammer but i have already been warned...WHats next? i have to worry about not only a lawsuit against TCH for shutting me down but i have to worry about a 500 dollar fine....what if they were wrong...as in this instance. There must be some oversight board or ADHOC to judge these matters....I strongly disagree and urge other "PAYING" members to force the management to resolve this grey area...this is a slippery slope....and i should know...i was shut down with ONE single email to all of my friends.....not one time have i ever spammed yet it happend to me. TCH is wrong!!!
