Hi!
My vBulletin database became corrupt, and i tried to restore it - but no luck.
I get : #1153 - Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet'
It's till a small forum, actually not even "live" yet, i still test administration/moderation/etc.
The SQL file is less than 3 MB
I tried to split this sctipt, and found out that admin log table is bigger than 1 MB and can not be splitted.
May be someone from TCH could restore this DB for me,
but this is actually not what i need.
I need to be able to restore my DB myself any time of day and night if i need it,
without asking TCH support.
So my question: is it possible?
I didn't have a backup made with "Backup" function ( i mean the site /x/backup ) ,
just a backup made in phpMyAdmin ,
but would it really help it i had a default backup?
I have a backup from other ISP ( created on the backup site of CP, very similar DB ),
i tried to restore it here, and it does not work ,
after the upload finishes, a "Restoring Database" message is displayed and nothing more happens.
I really need a long term solution for this problem,
because i can't accept not being able to restore(alone) a legit vBulletin database,
and it's even not a big forum....
Sincerely,
Soran
