Hi again - I realize I'm taking over with my questions here, but I can't figure out how the forms work? I know how to make them in the Dreamweaver, but how do I get them to work? Do they e-mail me or something? If so - how do I set that up? Also - is it possible to get info from multiple forms in one e-mail? My site is going to be a place where people can place orders for artwork and I'm putting in jump-menus that will take them to the pages they choose, where they will have to shoose additional things from lists. For example: the original order page will have a jump-menu where they can choose framed or unframed. That will take them to the page of thier choice where they will choose color scheme, subject matter, type of frame, etc. Then they will go to the shipping info page., etc. I would need to have all that info (3-4 pages worth) together, if possible. Please talk to me in bare-bones terms people. I have no idea what I'm doing!

I forgot to ask this - what is the alternative to a straight mailto:? What should I be using?

I did fix it - it was the flash thing, I think. I'm not sure how I fixed it, but... I'm still muddling my way through slowly but surely. Thanks for your help.

Hi there! I NEED HELP!! My homepage is acting crazy for some reason. I have even started over from scratch to and made a new homepage to see if that would fix it and it didn't. It keeps re-loading itself for aome reason and it won't stay up. Also - my "contact me" link is not working on the homepage either. It is the only link on the whole site that doesn't work and I can't figure out why because every other one does and I made them all the same way. I am frustrated. Hi there everyone. I just want to preface this question by saying I know abolutely NOTHING about computers, the internet, and web pages. I bought some web software and have been able to construct a site for myself to use and I'm shoppinh gor a web host. (Someone recommended this site to me.) My questions are these: 1. I need to have a shopping cart (I see you offer software, free) so how user-friendlty is it and will the shopping cart pages look like the rest of my site. i.e. can I insert it into a template? 2. I've read the difference between SSL and shared SSL, but is the shared secured and encrypted? I already have a business (not web-based) and have a merchant account and credit card machine to process credit cards. I would like to know if there is a way that I can get a secured page that someone can enter a credit card number, I will recieve or retrieve that number and be able to manually put it into my machine and then I can dispose of that information? Or do I have to find an online merchant account? I know e-mail is not safe to transport of sensitive information, but is there another way for me to get sensitive info without someone being able to steal it? 3. I also saw something about a password page or something - is that secure? Can people put thier info into that? I'm trying to avoid getting another merchant account just for my online business.
