  1. it's great that they have that, but it was very handy to have the aggregate usage on the main page. i usually only looked at my stats once a month, whereas i'd use the file manager (it's handy for editing & debugging dynamic pages) on at least a weekly basis... i mean, what's the point of putting it with general account information (which implies that it would be the aggregate information for all subdomains of the account) - especially since it has the aggregate information for everything else, which somewhat implies that it's the aggregate for the bandwidth too.
  2. not on 61. the total bandwidth cannot be correct because awstats gives: subdomain #5: 22 MB subdomain #7: 190 MB
  3. so i have a pair of subdomains that tend to be a bit heavy with the bandwidth - not really a big deal because i'm waaaaaay under my quota at the moment, but with the growth i've been seeing (one of my subdomains is doubling every 2-3 months and has been the ENTIRE time i've been running it since i started it), i want to be able to anticipate and plan the upgrade so that it's not too soon, not too late. what is a problem is that cpanel's no longer listing my entire bandwidth usage, only for my main domain. with several subdomains, it's a pain to go through and check each one individually and add them up - especially since awstats is usually behind my actual usage. this is something that happened in the last two or so months, so i don't know if it was a cpanel upgrade or what... but BOO.
  4. no, that's one you have to download to use. i want something like cgi::irc, which is a web interface (no downloading required).
  5. i have an install of cgi::irc on my domain, which has until this weekend worked. it's not on the server i'm trying to connect to - i've tried multiple servers (the one i've been trying to connect to, efnet, dalnet, etc), and all of them are timing out, and it's doubtful that all of them have kline'd the server my site's on (and i know for a fact the one i normally connect to hasn't). so, i'm looking for a new web-based irc client (and if anyone on tch's side can tell me if they've blocked irc traffic, that'd be faboo)... tia!
  6. ok, i just registered for web hosting & went ahead and made tch my registrar as well. i'd like to have them do my dns as well, since they've got everything, but i can't find where to do that, and since i'm moving in 6 days & this is finals week, time is of the essence and i'm rather loopy from too much studying... i lost my pwd over at my current dns place and don't remember where i was living at the time (i've moved 15 times in the last 5 years, yay for the college nomad lifestyle), and i know whatever phone i had had at the time, i don't have now, so i cannot update my zones myself. so, i guess i have two questions, now that the domain has transferred: 1) how do i set up dns to be hosted at tch 2) how do i set up subdomains at tch with the dns
