  1. Thanks for your continued efforts! Looks like the link you provided has the ultimate solution, they're killing the webmail module. Hopefully the new version will work better anyway. Thanks a lot for everyones help!
  2. Cool thanks for your efforts! If any phpnuke users have found a solution to this issue please do chime in.
  3. Did you use your cpanel login or an email acct you created? I can't replicate with any email accts other than the default IE cpanel login. Thanks!
  4. I tried the following suggested possible fix but that didn't do the trick: "Howdy Nukers, I had the same problem as you were having, so I spent some time fingering around with some DB settings. It turns out that the DB may not be fully storing your password. The default value for storing a password is 20 characters. That isn't enough character storage if you have a big password, and not only that, your password gets encrypted, which adds more characters to it. A simple solution it to go into your database with an application such as phpMyAdmin and follow these steps: - Note: This was performed in v6.5 with phpMyAdmin 1. Scroll down your table list and look for nuke_popsettings, and click browse. 2. Click on structure. 3. Scroll down the field list to passwd and click on change. 4. Edit the Length/Values number and give it a higher number, such as 60. I used 100 since I use real long passwords. 5. Save your changes. 6. Go back into WebMail and go to your account settings and re-enter your password so it gets fully recorded. I hope that helps you out." This was from http://www.nukecops.com/postp21076.html
  5. Thanks for the super fast reply Mike! I have tried with cameron@catppl.com as the username and no dice. Any other ideas?
  6. Update: I found this thread on phpcops: http://nukecops.com/postlite24133-webmail.html which definitely shed some light. I now can successfully access my cpanel login email acct via nuke, howver am unable to access all other email accts. Keep in mind I can retrieve from other pop servers. Still looking.. PS. Happy St. Patricks Day everybody!
  7. Hello, <P> I searched this and other forums thoroughly to no avail. <P> My issue is that in phpnuke 6.8 installed from cpanel I cannot retrieve email from my mail server. (mail.catppl.com) It sends out email flawlessly, however when I try to retrieve I get "Error: load)" (The partial paranthesis is in the error message.) <P> Here is the kicker: It will retrieve email from other pop servers without issue. <P> The information I am using is: <P> Pop Server: mail.catppl.com <P> Username: cameron+catppl.com <P> Port: 110 <P> In case you are wondering I have attempted with various catppl email accounts to verify it wasn't the account. Can anyone give me some ideas or insight here? I can't think of anything else to troubleshoot / try. <P> I am new to phpnuke but am rolling with it pretty well other than this. <P> Thanks! <P> Cameron
