  1. Thanks for the info, I think I will remove the tags.
  2. Hello, I posted the same question a few weeks ago, I think it may have got deleted because of the code in the post, so I won't put any this time. I use some meta tags to keep the page from caching, like "no cache" and the tag that tells browsers not to save any data. DO these type of tags slow the loading of a page? Are they necessary, for instance if I post a new news article or something and someone who visited yesterday comes back will they see the new content? Thank you
  3. Hello, Im looking for a good user management system, polling, voting, profiles, and allows users to upload pics, nay suggestions, I do have a small budget for this, so I can spend a little for software (<100.00) Thanks
  4. Also keep in mind that the number of sites that use the single word in their content and meta data is larger than the phrase. Just look at the results found number at the top of the search results, there will be more for the single word. If you want to see what kind of competition you have try using a keyword tool, go to overture.com or search overture keyword tool. This handy tool will display the number of searches a month for that keyword. The higher the searches the harder your competition. If your meta data content and keywords, content, heading tages, title tage and anchors are all optimized start looking on getting more incoming traffic and have partner sites link to you with your keyword anchored to your url. For instance <a http://www.yoursite.com>Keyword</a>. This will help your rank. Look at the sites that hold the top positions find their google page ranks, this is a helpful number based on age, reliability and incoming links of the site. This number usually has a lot of wieght on how you will do in the engines. Hope this helps.
  5. I am new to the site building world. I recently started a forum on my site huckzone.com using the default phpbb forum supplied by TCH. I have seen other people forums that appear to be phpbb with there sites header on the forum rather than the default phpbb. I have played in the admin mode for a while adding topics and priveleges, ect, but have not been able to figure out how to change my forums appearance. Please help Thanks
