  1. Great, Thanks Lisa! Thumbs Up
  2. Any more news on when sites might get added? Thanks,
  3. Thanks for letting us know.
  4. Thanks for the compliments guys.
  5. 1. WeirdReport.com 2. Weird Report 3. Featuring weird news, odd links and other funny stuff. 4. Nonprofit - Informational Site 5. TCH link in the footer. It's a new, very simple site right now but will grow into more soon... I'll probably also move to different blog software soon. Thanks! Thumbs Up
  6. Yes, I was very clear about that. Would it be wise to go ahead and use the order form now or wait for a help response (it's been a few hours)? I was hoping to get my account started today... Thanks
  7. Question- I just submitted a Help Ticket to add the reseller account. I want to add it in addition to the shared plan I already have. I was wondering though if that was the right way to go about ordering. Or should I have just used the order form? Thanks
  8. Alright, sounds good guys. I should be able to sign up today. Thanks!
  9. Thanks, Bruce. I saw another thread where it's discussed how it's pretty automated where new accounts end up. I've seen that there have been problems with the NAC data center recently. I guess a follow-up question would be: Can I be at all assured that I won't be put in NAC? Thanks
  10. I have one more question, then I should be ready to sign up for a reseller account. Is it likely that I'll be in the Washington DC data center (HopOne)? I live in the Washington area, so it may be helpful if I'm hosted there. I may do a regional-oriented site as one of my projects. It's not likely a deal breaker, but just wondering. I have another account on server 53 and have been pleased with its performance. Not sure if that one is in the DC center... Thanks!
  11. Great. Thanks Andy!
  12. Thanks for the fast reply. That sounds easy enough. So, if I had several forums and blogs, etc. installed, it would be painless to upgrade? It sounds like with Reseller accounts that you just add in the bandwidth or disk space and don't necessarily have to move software to another server, etc. - is that right? Thanks, Lance
  13. How easy is it to upgrade a reseller plan to a bigger reseller plan? Say if I started with Basic, to upgrade to Deluxe later on. I'm looking to start several sites and if they grow in bandwidth or disk needs I just want to have a plan. Rather than just tacking on extra a la carte bandwidth or disk space... Thanks, Lance
  14. Thanks for the info and quick response Raul. Lance
  15. Hi guys, I just have a couple more easy questions before I sign up. I will have 3 or more sites shortly, so I'm considering the reseller account. -Would all the sites on a reseller account share the same IP address? -Also, if I had multiple regular hosting accounts (for example 3 Silver accounts)--would the billing be consolidated for these, or would I see 3 charges each month? Thanks! Lance
  16. Thanks Bill. I appreciate the personal attention. You guys really seem to care here. Like I mentioned, I'll probably be a new customer shortly. TCH looks like just what I need. Lance
  17. Thanks for the info guys. It sounds like a very personal company--that's one measure of stability I think. I know there are no guarantees about the acquisition stuff, but it's good to have some feedback on it. As far as the dedicated IP, it's probably not a big deal but I'll sleep on it. Thanks for the info. Most likely I'll sign up in the next few days...
  18. Just to clarify- I don't need hard data on these questions. On the company info question, I'm just used to seeing something on the website about financial security / future plans for the company / how long the company has been around, etc. Any general info on this stuff would be greatly appreciated. Or if there's a post or link that would help, let me know. Not meaning to stump anyone on this... Thanks Lance
  19. Hi, I like what I see so far and am interested in hosting with you. Couple of quick questions if someone can help. I've been with several hosts over the years, and a recurring problem is with the company being acquired or acquiring someone else. I was actually with a company that was acquired 3 times--the third time by a host that I had fled a year earlier! In any case, the problem is that service always goes down after a company is acquired or the company focuses on acquisitions. Email and control panel service seem to suffer first. Most companies I've been with can keep the sites up even in rough times, but the reliability of email and admin stuff declines rapidly. Can someone give me some quick insight into how long the company has been around and how the company feels about acquisitions? I've been through the TCH site extensively but didn't see much on this, unless I missed it somewhere... Also, is there any info on uptime for email and the control panel? One more- I've always had a dedicated IP with other shared hosting plans. In the past I had always heard it was important. Can someone give me some words of wisdom as to why I shouldn't worry about having a dedicated IP? Thanks! Lance
