I use Eudora myself but some wish to use web mail. Where do they go and log in at? I know nothing about email on the web.

I have set up several emails for members of our group. A few can only send and receive via web mail. Can anyone explain how they need to retrieve their email?

Ok I figured it out. I had the script name with a capital M instead of a small m. Works ok now. Thanks everybody.

I have it added to each page and in the correct folder as well. I had the same set up on a different site some months back and it worked fine but for some reason it just isn't showing up now on any of the pages.

I have added a Xara Webstyle menu to our site. The script extention is .js but it is not showing up. Is there a certain place I am suppose to upload the .js?

I see that TCH-Bruce says they have discontinued use of the FormMail program. I guess that's why it doesn't work. I really need a good form I can put on my site for feedback from visitors. Do you or anybody have any suggestions?

I have added a contact page for my site with a form using FormMail. The mailit.php has been uploaded to the server but when I try to paste <form action="mailit.php" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data" name="form1"> into the actual form page, it totally messes up the table formatting. And when I can get it right and you hit the submit button, it gives me the following message: Message could not be sent. Mailer Error: Language string failed to load: connect_host Anybody have any ideas what I am doing wrong or how I can set up another form instead of what I am using?

The problem I am actually dealing with here is I don't think integrating two different programs. I am using the phpnuke as my news page and the forum program it runs is the phpbb. So I tried to do a backup for my actual forums and then restore the backup to the phpbb on the nuke site. It doesn't take for some reason. But the two forums are phpbb so anybody have any suggestions?

I am running phpnuke version 6.5 and phpBB 2.0.6 forums as a seperate part of my site. I am wondering if there is a way to integrate the two and load the forums onto the nuke site. When I go to the admin page for the forums on the nuke page, it appears to be the same setup as my current forums page. I tried to backup and restore but it isn't working. My current forum has been online for some time and is quite big. Does anyone know how get my forums into the forum section of my nuke site? Thanks in advance.

never mind. thanks for the help but I figured it out. i didnt even name the left or center frame and now that i did it works fine. thanks for all the help and the welcome.

well I tried that but it always opens a new browser for the link instead of in the center frame. On my site I have used three frames...Top, Left(menu) and Center. I am trying to set it up so when a link is clicked in the menu in the left frame, it will open in the center frame. I know it probably must be by targets but cannot seem to get it to work. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Well I thought I was in good shape. I signed on to Totalchoice early this morning and even was able to upload files already. But now I find out that my old service, EhostPro, has a block on domain names it registers so that I cannot get my web site name released from them. It is wrong for them to do that. So now I can't use my web site unless I stay on Ehost and I am not happy about that. I was told to go to the registrar and request they move it, but they say I have to go through Ehost. It looks like I will not be able to stay with Totalchoice after all. It is a shame since they look so good that I cannot use them and have to cancel my account after only one day. But so far EhostPro has ignore several emails from me about this subject. I hate EhostPro! Sorry Totalchoice, guess I have to leave you before we ever got to know each other.

my current hosting service uses eNom.com to register the domains. Are they easy to redirect when you switch? And do I just contact them and give them the new DNS when i get it?

Sorry to be a pest but I have a couple more questions. Like I said, I am still a novice to all this and want to make sure if I move that everything will remain intact but I am hoping that an initial cost is not high. Also would like to know what version of phpbb do you offer for the forums? My current hosting service uses phpBB 2.0.3 And is there something special needed to be done to use the live help above? I have noticed that sometimes I click it and it gives an error and the other times it shows that all departments are offline. I have yet to connect with a person to ask these questions. I am very impressed by what you offer but I am so new to all this, I want to be sure of everything before I switch so I don't screw up my web site and forums. I hope you understand that is why I am asking so many questions. I just want to be sure of what has to be done to just have my current site switched to be completely through you and what that will cost upfront. Thanks for all your help.

Sounds good. That means the phpbb forums and EVERYTHING will be moved? How fast can it be done and what will be my TOTAL initial cost for all this if say I go with the starter plan? And how do you bill? Monthly or yearly or what? The one I am with now bills every 3 months.

Yes they use cpanel for administrative control.

Yes thanks alot. It helps alot. I am not too up on MySQL but I am a fast study. I want my forums to remain intact and will do whatever for that reason even if it requires paying a little extra for that to be done. I have backed up my forum database if that will help. I am waiting to find out everything from TCH and if all is to my liking I can switch over right away...like TONIGHT! I am so tired of the hosting I am with now I could just scream. Takes forever to get a reply to tech questions and they are never the right answer. I asked them about moving a file to a different location and how to do it. Their reply was for it to work it had to be moved. Does that make any sense? I already knew that! These people suck and I need a good hosting service for my site. So if anyone from TCH is reading this thread, please respond so I can go ahead and move over right away. Thanks. And thanks again to you shakes!
