Schusst, According to Symantec, the virus exludes .edu domians from it's propagation procedure. - Who ever it is obviously has nothing against academics!

Hey guys, I was just checking on comments on My Doom. Not on my TCH Site, but one of our home ID's was hit with 500+ Emails in 2 hours last night! I had to take the account down. Mad!!! That was just the incoming virus attempts, not even with the machine infected. Fortunately no sign of it on my TCH site Thumbs Up

All, As someone has opened a Mozilla topic, I'll post this here to see if anyone can help. One of the Websites I use (Although not mine) uses ActiveX code, I love using Firebird as my main browser but it won't run the ActiveX code, has anyone found a fix/know whether Mozilla is going to be able to fix this issue? BTW - been with TCH for 3 months now - & love it, reliable, friendly service, great community. Rock Sign

Don, Thanks for your help, I've managed to set up the FTP account, but don't seem to be able to save or retrieve any files from it. Do I need special software or should I be able to do this from explorer etc? - I've set the FTP site up in "My network Places" within IE. I can see it and open it, but get errors when I try to read or write to it. Thanks again for your help

Hi, I've looked around the forums extensively and haven't been able to find the solution I'm looking for - it may be that I don't know what to look for though!! I'd like to ste up a sub domain for storing/transfering data fiels in a password protected environmnet - I preume I need to use the FTP route, but nor sure how to go about it including setting up password protection etc. I'm sure it's real easy, but I'm a beginer at web site managment etc so just missing it, any help greatfully received, thanks.
