  1. Just a quick note to say that I highly recommend TCH. Any issues are immediately attended to and my website is hardly ever down. You are probably thinking, those low end packages are so cheap, they can't actually be good. Believe it! TCH ROCKS! Keep up the great work guys!
  2. Forget it...I got it. Thanks for helping out this big dummy!
  3. Thanks and sorry about that. Is it true that I need to use my ISP's email account for my SMTP and cannot use the email address provided through my webhosting account with TCH? I would love to use my main address, cheapyd@cheapassgamer.com My ISP is RoadRunner (NYC) and I am having a hard time finding out what settings I need to use. PHPBB asks me for the following info: SMTP Server Address SMTP Username SMTP Password Thanks again, David
  4. Very recently, I've started to get emails bounced back that were sent from my PHPBB forum to an AOL, Yahoo, or Hotmail address. After searching http://forums.cpanel.net, it seems that it could be a problem with the new version of Cpanel, but I did not understand any of the solutions offered. Can anyone offer some assistance? Here is what the bounced back email looks like:
  5. All of a sudden, after no problems for months, I got an email bounced back from my PHPBB account activation mailer. It seems like all emails to accounts @aol.com, @hotmail.com, @yahoo.com are all getting bounced back to me. I had no problems with this until today. Any suggestions? I have turned off the account activation in the mean time. My guess that these companies email use some sort of spam filter or something and thinks my emails are spam. Its kind of odd that I would start having the same problem with all three companies on the same day, though.
  6. Let me preface this by saying im a total rookie when it comes to this stuff... I'm trying to add this little php script to my website which should display the number of users currently in my chat room. Unfortunately, when I added it to my site, nothing happened. No error message, no text displayed...nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I looked in the SQL manager just to confirm that the user name and database name were correct, and they were. ><?php @ $db = mysql_pconnect("localhost", "cheapas_cheapyd", "PASSWORD"); if (!$db) { echo "MySQL ERROR: Could not connect to the Chat DB. Please try later."; exit; } mysql_select_db("cheapas_pchat1"); $query = "SELECT DISTINCT username FROM c_users"; $result = mysql_query($query); $num_results = mysql_num_rows($result); echo "There are ".$num_results." users in the chat."; ?> Thanks in advance!
