I did nothing. It had always been that way...until about a week ago, when it stopped--much to my dismay. TCH folks, any thoughts on this?

Ok Wilexa, one more test. What do you see in your logs files in the "Host" column? Until about a week ago, I was seeing resolved domain names. e.g., perry.umist.ac.uk m4-mp1.cvx1-b.pop.dial.ntli.net si1003.inktomisearch.com Those are copied straight from the log. Have you always seen just IPs?

That's so strange! What have other people been seeing?

I've been poking around a bit more (I didn't realize how much I'd miss the DNS lookup on latest visitors) and I notice that AWStats has a configurable option for DNS lookup. Very nice. Does Latest Visitors have any similar configurable options? I would love to have it doing a lookup on hosts again. I say "again" because it was doing it until about 3-4 days ago.

Thanks for the replies. That's interesting, Critical Mass, that you've only seen IPs. I think it's nice to see xxx.edu or .com; it gives me a good idea who's around. Oh well.

Usually the "Host" entry in Latest Visitors is resolved to some recognizable English domain rather than just an IP address. I notice today that this is no longer the case. Is this temporary? Under the control of TCH? It would be a shame if this no longer happened.

Seems to be resolved again. It's been intermittent, as I say. Next time it happens, I'll open a ticket.

I'm on server 26 and I'm accessing mail.unfogged.com with my pop client and www.unfogged.com/webmail via the web. It's 8:25pm central time on 9/8/03. This has been happening intermittently for about a week.
