At my previous web host, in statistics, there was graph "top files by bandwidth", TCH hosting missing it. I've downloaded my website access log, tried various free apache log analyser software for windows, but none showed option "list top files by bandwidth". So, it seems to be impossible?

Let's say: I have site myTCHsite.com with file myTCHsite.com/myfile.zip I have set hotlink protection to disallow direct links, and any other referrer than myTCHsite.com Someone has posted link to that file at othersite.com What will happen when user clicks on it? If user is using plain browser - everything is OK, he'll be unable to download myfile.zip BUT, if he is using some kind of download manager, like flashget, he'll download file easily. Why? because they calculate referrer from file url, not actual page. I have domain name, which I can use for 2nd account (www.apsni.net) 3. after the registration, I will be able to add 2nd account to 1st as subdomain? 4. if yes, then what purpose has another domain name in step 2?

Yes I want a 2nd opinion. Why not upgrade? because this way is cheaper. I'm paying $55/yr and getting 800mb/20gb. If I'll add second acount, I'll get for $110/yr 1600mb/40gb. And totalchoice doesn't have an acount for $110, with such bandwidth and space.

I'm satisfied customer of TCH from december 2003. I've recomended this host to my friend, and he wants to signup. He's not so good in english, so he asked me to clear out some questions. He decided to purchase starter plan. thats $44/year He needs two domains. thats roughly $22/year An option to host 2nd domain is $25 So, he had to pay 44+22+25=$91 The question is, is $25 fee for 2nd domain hosting reaplees on nex year, or is it just one-time fee? And if 2 domains hosted in one account, how they should work? will there be 2 separate FTP accounts, for each domain, or in one account there will be visible 2 folders, like SITE_1, SITE_2 ? First of all, thanks for high quality hosting, I'm on web since 1998 and I can say that TCH is the best! Hotlink protection is very great, but it also does a bad thing along with good: When you right click link and choose SAVE TARGET AS, it doesn't works. For example, this page: [Link Removed... contains adult material] try to save any file, or even directly open them in media player. System gives 403 error. Is there a way to fix this somehow? my account is http://209.152.173.160/~janigs/ located at server49, as cpanel says. Stats, except the error log, doesn't work. i.e. awstats shows no visitors, when they really are, there are no bandwidth usage (shows only my own ftp upload), while it is really used, the list of latest visitors is empty, and even when i try to download raw log file. it is just empty! what is the problem?

I'm moving around whole country with my notebook, and often need to send email using different providers, so it is hard each time to get their SMTP server name. Does totalchoice provide SMTP server with authorisation, which will allow me to use it from any provider?
