  1. I'm testing external blog software, Marsedit, Ecto and scribefire, for use with one Wordpress and two Drupal sites. Everything works as advertised, with one exception. I receive a 406 error when using the software to upload a jpg in a post. Oddly, uploading a gif works just fine. Two of the sites are on my reseller account. The other two are on individual accounts. Since it's consistent across all, I'm obviously missing something, somewhere. Any guidance is must appreciated.
  2. You have understood the situation perfectly. The problem, though, is that after updating the DNS servers with the correct address the site still shows the felucia.tchmachines.com/username etc. address on the pages. (At least it looks as if I did this process correctly.) I've checked Drupal forums and, best as I can tell, the propagation should correct the problem. I changed the DNS addresses on Monday, and the site is available from the updated address. Any chance the tch servers haven't updated? Otherwise, do the forums have a Drupal maven onboard? Again, the help is much appreciated.
  3. I've created my first Drupal site and I'm confused about the proper addressing after updating my DNS servers. I'm unsure if this shows my Drupal ignorance or my general hosting ignorance, and I hoped someone might point me in the proper direction. During development, I used the default address provided by tch. Then, I updated the DNS servers with the proper address. You can now access the site with the correct address, but once on the site all urls reflect http://felucia.tchmachines.com/xxxx. Being a newbie, I assumed the change of the DNS servers would also update the Drupal site address. I've reviewed forum topics that seemed appropriate but I don't seem to be hitting the right mark. I did try to edit the setting.php file but that effort broke the site. So, 1. How mistaken/screwed am I? 2. What changes should I make to reflect the correct address at the site? All help is much, much appreciated.
