  1. Yeah, that's logical and pretty much what I expected, but no harm in trying! For what I want to do, I suppose the first place to start is to considerably reduce the file size. Thanks for your quick response.
  2. Great site folks! I may have a tough one, if not impossible to resolve, given all its constraints. I am attempting to locate a free or reasonably rated video hosting site where I can store animated gif files which are no larger than 2 to 3 MB. I would like to use these relatively small video files as signatures/publications on sites very much like this one. The problem I am having, as you may already imagine, is finding a site that provide true streaming of the hotlinked file where the viewer will see the animated video immediately without needing any plugins or to initiate play, hence the decision to use animated gif as my video filetype. In fact, I prefer not to use a player like what is required when using Quicktime or Flash files. How would I embed the animated gif file in the blog post (or more to the point, the signature which would append it to each post) that would display it fullsize, approx. 400x85, (not just a thumbnail that would require clicking on it)? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide! Happy Holidays!
