I'm having a problem similar to that of room4five. I password protected one of the directories on a site I set up for an organization. I couldn't access it again, even after I un-protected it.
What I want to know is how I can set up an interface for any of my "authorized users" to put their user name and password in so they can access a password protected directory. All I can do so far is go through the password-protect-directory procedure and then anyone who tries to go to that directory gets a "Forbidden" error message.
How do I set up a user/password interface to allow my authorized users access?
