Just thought I would mention (may or may not be same issue) but for quite some time now I have similar issues, I use DreamWeaver, Filezilla, as well as just plain ole ftp via browser and very frequently loses connection during uploads. I use a Netgear fast ethernet switch and have also tried connected directly to the Motorola SurfBoard with no remedy.

Well first of all I apologize if this is the wrong forum or if my question has already been answered but I've spent all morning here searching to no success. My issue is "how to block/reject incoming email to unknown recipients", you know the emails that get sent to your domain with a "non-existent" recipient. IE; To: Boyu.ehab@act-iv.net or To: suatGuilford@act-iv.net (these usernames do not exist in our domain). We have been getting more and more each day and each one is a different username. It is unfortunate that the cpanel email filters do not give this option. Block or Return or Reject all incoming email sent to someone that is NOT in our users. Oh on another note, in the emoticons you need one of the angry face pulling his hair out

From what your original posts describes it just simply sounds like your webhost has blocked your IP for what it percieved as abuse. I have seen this happen more times than I can count.
