David W Aldridge
I have 4 TCH hosting accounts - want to migrate them to a reseller package, all domains were purchased through TCH. I believe i need to upgrade one account (the primary domain of my choosing) and the rest can be moved by TCH no charge... question, do I have to mess with the nameservers or can this happen automatically. seems like the nameserver thing can't happen until after I set up my folder heirarchy, in which case how can TCH just automaticaly make the change then? I want to do this, but i don't want to take a week to figure out how to get the other 3 domains working... OR...is all this managed in the WHM and all I have to contend with is the time it takes for the nameservers to propogate? I have about 20 domains to migrate - this can happen later and how come word wrap doesn't work in the text field I am typing in right now? lastly - if I choose a primary domain and later change my mind, can I switch it out with another domain without too much hassle - don't need to know exactly how, just need to know if it isn't going to be a hassle. TCH-Carl
The nameservers might change depending on the reseller server your accounts get moved to - we maintain separate servers for virtual and reseller accounts. The changes in the nameservers on the hosting side will be done by us during the transfer, you will have to take care of the change on the domain registration. You can choose one of the hosting accounts you own as the primary reseller account and then ask us to move the rest to your account. Mention the cpanel logins of your accounts that need to be transferred in the ticket, once this is verified, we will move it for you. The main reseller account can be changed at a later stage if you choose but please note that all your resold accounts are connected to the main account's username. So it would be wise if you choose the main account with a broader view of things.
David W Aldridge
I have 1 domain that I lost my account info - I will figure that out and then consider getting this thing done. I submitted a ticket for this with the domain account. Carl... you appear to be my personal TCH representative - the earlier ticket, the online chat and now this post, is it just coincidence or does TCH have the ability assign folks to one rep so to speak. Interesting. Thanks.

TCH-Thomas
It´s probably just coincidence, but also on what time you usually submits tickets or chat with the techs (ie Carl's schedule vs your time zone).
