After uploading a perl cgi script and chaning the permission to 755 I try to execute it using its URL, but an error page is shown as :

 

 

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, root@server64.totalchoicehosting.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

 

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

 

 

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

You could be missing a quote or semi-colon. If you can't resolve the issue yourself please open a help desk ticket and ask one of the techs to have a look. Or you could post your script here and let other forum members have a peek. Comment out any sensitive data like user names and passwords.
