Phpmychat...help

Hi,

 

I just created a chatroom using phpMyChat but for some reason I can not access any of the admin features. I am logging on with the admin username and password. Did I miss something???

Are you loging into /chat/admin.php3 ?

I tried that I get "Page could not be found" Mad!!!

goto the folder where your chat room is

and then

/chat/admin.php3

like www.site.com/chatroom/chat/admin.php3

I just looked

its there

I found it at www.mysite.com/chat/chat/admin.php3...does that seem correct??

Do you how they managed to get Adminstration to appear on the log on screen???

using ftp,

I found in chat/config/

the file config.lib.php3

 

change the C_SHOW_ADMIN to 1

define("C_SHOW_ADMIN", '0');

define("C_SHOW_DEL_PROF", '1');

define("C_VERSION", '0');

define("C_BANISH", '0');

define("C_NO_SWEAR", '0');

define("C_SAVE", '*');

 

 

 

 

BUT! are you sure you want to do that?

why not just bookmark the adminpage.

I have installed phpmychat through my control panel and entered a username and password for the admin area and clicked install. was able to figure out how to get to the admin login screen. but when i type in the admin username and password it will not accept it. whats going on here? ?? ? I know im typing it correctly. I've done it over and over and in clear text to make sure. please help Mad!!!
