Mae
I had a forum, but I wasn't getting any traffic, so I stopped paying attention to it. Well, it got run over with spam of the naughty kind, so I shut it down. Now I'm getting dozens of emails from the server stating that no one can access my forum. I'm assuming because some computer programs are trying to access it over and over again to spam it. How do I turn off the emails?
TCH-Bruce
What forum software is it? Have you checked the administration panel? Change the email address for the board administrator then set up a rule for any mail for that address to "discard the message" in cpanel under account level filters. Mae
It's the php forum in the cpanel. I deleted the forum. I don't know where to go to stop the emails. I'm getting about 10 an hour at my regular yahoo address.
TCH-Bruce
Did you delete the database for the forum as well?
TCH-Carl
If you can forward a copy of the email with the complete headers to our tech support team, we will check it out.
