Mailing List Settings Help Needed

I want to set up a mailing list in CPanel, and I am more than a little overwhelmed by the options available.

All I want is a list so I can send mass mailings, with the ability for people to subscribe and unsubscribe. I don't want it to be like a list-serve, where they can communicate with each other. If possible, I'd like my mailings to have the recipients' individual email addresses in the "To:" field, to limit the spam filtering.

Could someone please help me sort out the necessary settings?

I would check out phplist found in the fantastico part of your cpanel and see if it can do what you want.

 

Also, for the allowed number of emails to send per minute, hour etc, please submit a ticket at the helpdesk and ask, since we do not discuss those limits in the forums for obvious reasons.
