cofphoto Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 I just moved to TCH from IPowerlessWeb and so far have been thrilled with the move. Everyone who visits my site regularly has commented on how much faster the site is, and I'm usually able to get ahold of Tech Support right away. However today I can't seem to get anyone, so I figured I'd try posting here. I'd consider myself a beginner to mid-level experienced person when it comes to websites. About a month before I switched hosting companies, I learned how to set up a form on my website that I had intended to use as a customer satisfaction survey - ten questions with buttons and text boxes, etc. It worked fine, but now after the move it doesn't work. I've found that the code that I had set up has www.xxxxxxxxx/cgi-bin/forms.cgi as the main form action. Looking around on my hosting account at TCH I see that there is a /cgi-bin/ folder but no forms.cgi file. Looking through some of the older posts here, it looks like the forms.cgi script may not be available here at TCH? What do I need to do in order to get my form working again? Thanks for any help. TCH-Bruce Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Welcome to the forums cofphoto No, there is no default form handling script included in any of the plans but if you have a copy of your site and the forms.cgi script you should be able to upload it to your cgi-bin folder here and use it. Otherwise you will have to find a form handling script (make sure it's a secure script). Good place to start looking is hotscripts.com Quote
