firefox2 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Hi, did anyone have the same problem as I have now? Before I switched to Firefox a few days ago, everything works fine with my cPanel on IE. But now it's extremely slow after I type in username and password. It takes a full minute to just load the top three lines, and all the icons/pictures on cPanel index are not displayed. If I right click on the picture and select "View Image", it will display the following error message: The image “http://xx.xx.xxx.xx/frontend/x/branding//top_01-sm_3.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. While I don't care about the image display, but the loading speed is killing me. Does anyone know what happened? It still works fine in IE. Thanks! Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Welcome to the forums firefox2 I have no issues using Firefox or IE with cPanel on three different servers I have accounts on. Try accessing your cPanel using >https://yourdomain.ext:2083/ Quote

firefox2 Posted July 31, 2007 Author Posted July 31, 2007 Wow, thanks to Bruce, it's indeed faster by using https://yourdomain.ext:2083/ I wonder why it is faster than http://xxx:2082. Oh well, I am glad it's back to normal. Thanks a lot for the help! This forum is much better than submitting a support ticket Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Don't know why the secure connecetion would be faster but I'm glad it worked out for you. Quote
