kjarrett Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Can someone explain what this means? "cPanel System Backup is not enabled on this machine. Some other type of backup system may be in place, however downloads cannot be fetched using this module." And this, under Full Backup: "Full backups can only be used for moving your account to another server or keeping a local copy of your account" Finally, what is the difference between a 'Full Backup' and a 'Home Directory' backup? Thanks, kj Quote
TCH-Carl Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Please drop in a support reqeust using the Help Desk link given on the top menu. We will check it out. Full backup : as the name suggests, will contain everything, mysql databases, forwarders, email etc. You will have to contact support to restore the files from this. Home backup : will contain the files residing inside your home directory. You will be able to restore this backup yourself using cpanel. Quote

TCH-Bruce Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 A "Full Backup" backs up everything in your domain but you cannot restore it on your own. You would have to upload the backup and open a ticket with the help desk to have it restored. The "Home Backup" will backup what is in your /home folder. This backup can be restored by you but does not contain any databases, file aliases or cron jobs. Quote
