Hotlink Protection Problem

Hey there everyone. I am having some serious problems with my Hotlink Protection in CPanel. PHP is one of the file extensions I have decided to block. I can access PHP files fine via "text" links on the allowed referers that I have listed. The only problem is that I can't seem to access these PHP files via "image" links on the same pages. Do I need to include the image name in the URL when typing in an "allowed referer? If so, how do I do it? Any help would be very much appreciated guys. Thanks very much for all your help.
