Minhea Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Hi everyone! I have a question about Cpanel MySql and PHPmyadmin. This is what I can read on my CPanel: PHP version 4.4.4 MySQL version 4.1.21-standard I wanted to know how to upgrade PHPmyadmin from 4.1 to the newest version, 5.0 or 5.1. I'd need this new version to install a script that requires it. I looked for infos in MySql site, and I found this page: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/upg...g-from-4-1.html The topic seems correct, but in that page I cannot read ANY instructions at all about how to upgrade! Maybe I'm idiot, but I seriously cannot see them. o_O So, what should I do? How should I upgrade Phpmyadmin? And isn't Cpanel supposed to upgrade programes automatically? Please, help me if you can! Bye, have a nice day! Gloria Quote
heyguy Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 You won't be able to upgrade it if you are on a shared server. (Are you on a shared server?) Quote
