Renes2003 Posted July 8, 2003 Posted July 8, 2003 Ok I'm pretty new to this stuff and I want to protect my images folder but can't seem to get password protection to work! I want to have an "access denied" when someone tries to look at my image folder. Can someone help me please? *batting eyes* Quote
SEO Posted July 8, 2003 Posted July 8, 2003 Go to your cPanel. Under 'Site Management' click on 'Web Protect' Click on the name of the directory (folder) you want to protect. Note: navigation is a bit confusing in the beginning when using cPanel's file manager. To navigate through directories click on the folder (not the name) to select a specific folder (or file for that matter) click on the actual name. Give the resource a name (e.g. images) and add user name(s) with associated password(s). Good luck. Quote
