iaconetti Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 hi, i've created several subdomains using the ancient Netscape Composer, and just heard of Nvu, which is similar but better. my problem is, i'm having trouble uploading from Nvu's publishing window -- it looks similar to Composer's, but is somehow different. do i need to do something in cPanel to create another subdomain of my original (and only) domain? it's been so long, I can't remember. or can i just create a new folder with a new index page and upload that? if there's an Nvu tutorial on TCH, i'd love to see it. as always, thanks for your consistently excellent service! -- j. TCH-Don Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Hi Joan You will need to create the sub domain in your cpanel first cpanel > subdomains which will create a folder and redirect for you. Then publish to domain/folder. Google lists a few NVU tutorials such as http://nvudev.com/guide/1.0PR/ugs01.htm Quote
TCH-Don Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 For a sub directory add the folder name to the publish page window look for Site Sub-directory for this page: Quote
