tgohome Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Well, it looks like I can give up on my previous web host, since they have had over 100 problems in the 1 year I've been with them , so I will probably be going with TCH. However, when my webhost manages to actually find the hard disk , I would like to know if a cPanel to cPanel transfer is possible? I would just like a simple plan, 1-2gb space and 50 gb bandwidth, with PHP 4-5 & MySQL (any suggestions?). So, my question, cPanel to cPanel transfer? Is it possible, and how long will it take? The reason I'm asking this is because I have a lot of files I'd like to keep. I should soon have the money to buy 1 years hosting. So, hopefully, I will be able to buy some really good hosting here, because I am really [bad word] off about my webhost. Who wouldn't be? Thanks, Tom Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Welcome to the forum, tgohome. Cpanel to Cpanel transfer should work if your current host have cpanel. How long it would take to transfer it, is a question for the help desk, but I can´t imagine it taking a long time. Quote
tgohome Posted September 8, 2006 Author Posted September 8, 2006 Thanks for the reply. My host does have cPanel installed (cPanel 10X to be precise). Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Welcome to the forums tgohome. Should be no problem emphasis on should. We have PHP 4 on the servers here and not 5. Quote
stevevan Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 (edited) IMHO, you won't find a better host than TCH. CPanel to CPanel is as easy as a ticket to the help desk. And if you start with the basic plan, upgrade is quick, simple, and painless! You'll love it here! Edited September 8, 2006 by stevevan Quote
