Every single thing in cpanel that needs an upgrade is up to to the folks at cpanel and fantastico when to release. It is always best to try to do your own installations/upgrades of the latest versions that are released. Quote

Under my Admin/Settings, I get a nice RED error telling my the file system path (folder "files") is not present. So, I just do a simple create new at the directory. Now, it says it's not writable. Sure enough, the write premission is only set to User. Setting it to Group and World zaps the error. Is this the right solution? Also, where'd phpadmin go in CPanel? Am I missing something obvious?
