cgoetz Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 I have a bulletin board set up on my site <www.slowthinkers.com/forum> And it used to work fine but now it is only possible to access parts of it. The main problem is that the only way to login into the BB is to enter username and password and then check the auto-login box. When you hit 'submit' you are taken to the browser's default for a missing page, however if you refresh the url it automatically logs in and you can view the forums. The other important problem is that the administration panel is not accessable, when an admin clicks on the link for it, once again the browser shows that the page does not exist. I tried exporting that database and then importing it into a new phpBB database, however that just errors the new db and makes nothing accessable. One thing that may have affected this is recently I deleted a database, one used for Movabletype, and I created a new database used for WordPress. Does anyone have any suggestions to what happened to the BB? Or is it just screwed beyond help? Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted July 2, 2005 Posted July 2, 2005 The forum does not even load when I go to that link. Hard to determine what could have happened. You may try opening a ticket with the help desk and see if they can restore a backup of your database and see if that fixes things. Quote
