Odbc_connect ?

I would like to make an odbc connection to the database so that I might use a disconnected recordset that I can update the db from. Anyhoo.... anyone using odbc_connect to their mysql db and if so could you throw me a bone?

I'm not certain about odbc connections specifically, but

If odbc is another way of doing a remote connection (which is what it sounds like you're trying to do), those threads might get you started.
