gigantor Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 Hi All, I am a newbie here that just finished installing MT. Everything went smooth on the install thanks to the TCH forums. So now that I have started using it, I can not understand why I am not seeing the default *.css style sheet being used. www.guzmanpdx.net I am sure that it is simple solution., Thanks in Advance! TCH-Thomas Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 Hi and welcome to the forum. Sorry, I don´t use MT, but hang in there, someone who does will see this and answer it. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 I believe you have a setting wrong either in your config file or blog setup section. You have index.html as part of your blog path. Check your local blog path, it should not include the index.html Quote
TCH-Don Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 I see www.guzmanpdx.net/public_html/styles-site.css as your path, take out the public_html/ if the style sheet is in your public_html folder (your web site root) www.guzmanpdx.net/styles-site.css it should work. If it is in a folder then change it to the path to the folder www.guzmanpdx.net/FOLDER/styles-site.css Quote
TweezerMan Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 Welcome to the forums, gigantor! I'm seeing this for the link to your stylesheet on your main weblog page: >http:// www.guzmanpdx.net/public_html/styles-site.css In Weblog Config, you need to fix the Site URL: 1) Remove the space from between the 'http://' and the 'www'. 2) Remove the 'public_html'. The Site URL setting should look like this: >http://www.guzmanpdx.net/ The Archive URL setting also needs to be corrected as well - you need to remove the space from between the 'http://' and the 'www'. It should look like this: >http://www.guzmanpdx.net/archives/ Save theses changes, then rebuild your entire weblog. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 Sorry, where are my manners. Welcome to the forums, gigantor! Quote
gigantor Posted May 9, 2005 Author Posted May 9, 2005 First of all, thank you, for all your help! It work, mostly the path and the space. I knew it had to be simple. I am looking forward to getting to know the rest of the team. Thanks again! Quote
