MizCool Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 Hello, I'm working on a software application that I want to sell on the internet. Do you provide the following services? 1) Templates to create the site? 2) A way to accept credit card payments from visitors? 3) A way for visitors to download my application and download patches? They should be allowed to download a trial version for free. If they want to buy it, they'll return to the site and make the purchase. I'll then send them a registration code. Visitors should also be allowed to download free updates/patches. If you do provide these services, where can I get specific details and how much it costs? I want to keep the site as simple as possible. Thanks for the help. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 Welcome to the forums MizCool 1. No, there are no templates provided. You could find templates elsewhere and host them here. 2. Shopping cart software is available, but you will need your own merchant account to accept payments that tie to the shopping cart software. OSCommerce and Agora Cart are the two provided. You are free to install a different shopping cart software as well. A lot of folks have installed ZenCart. 3. You control what gets downloaded from your site with normal http or ftp links. Any of the plans will allow you to do what you are seeking. You would need to determine how much disk space and bandwidth you will need. Here is a link to the virtual hosting plans Hope that helps.
