Dal Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 I'm not familiar with awstats (I've been using Webalizer with my current host), so I'm wondering exactly what kinds of stats it tracks. One of the main things I look at for my site is top urls not by hits but by KBytes (so I can see which files are the biggest bandwidth eaters); does awstats provide any information on this? Also, does it provide stats on weekly, daily and hourly bandwidth comsumption? Quote
Joaquin Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Yeah Awstats is great. It does provide individual file stats as well as weekly, daily and hourly bandwidth consumption. Plus it gives you browser, country, robot/spider, visit duration, links from search engine, and referrer(sp?) stats and well as commonly used keywords/phrases used to find your site. And welcome to the forums!! Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Welcome to the forums Dal Joaquin summed it up well. Quote
stevevan Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 First, welcome to the forums! Personally, I think the awstats are better than webalizer...there' more information available. (Maybe even too much! ) But that's just MY opinion! Quote
