I successfully created one subdomain on my site before, and have deleted it since. I am currently trying to create a new one using the cpanel, but for some reason it's not being recognized as a subdomain through the web, only a folder under the main directory. This is about three hours after creation.

site: http://www.indiecowgirl.net

desired subdomain, http://foto.indiecowgirl.net, not recognized.

however, http://www.indiecowgirl.net/foto is recognized.

Is it simply a matter of more time that I need to wait? Or is it an issue that I should take up with the help desk peeps here? (or is it something I could somehow fix myself?)

thanks!

If you have used the subdomain creation function in cpanel without creating the folder first, I dont see why this would happen. Ok, I dont see why it would happen at all.

I think you should submit a ticket. :clapping:

If you create the folder first then create the subdomain you will eventually have problems.

Delete or rename the folder, delete the subdomain and recreate it. It will create a folder with the same name as the subdomain.

Now copy the content of the previous folder if you chose to rename it and delete the renamed folder.
