hapless Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 Hi, Just bought a domain name and a hosting package but as yet have no login/cpanel details and I dont know if I have done everything correctly. This is the second hosting package that I have purchased - the first one used a "transferred domain name" and all is well. When I signed up I inserted the domain name I had purchased from TCH in the relevent box - does this then attach the domain name automatically to the hosting package and how long does it take to get the login/password details sent out?? Most plans are set up within one to six hours after the account has been paid for. If it's been longer than that, and you still haven't received a word from us, let us know! The domain name you entered will be set to the new hosting package, and may be pointed TCH for you, but you should have received an e-mail for your domain name showing how to log in and change the DNS if nesssary. TCH-Thomas Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 (edited) First of all, welcome to your extended family. As Dons quote say, it may take up to 6 hours. If nothing has arrived in your email by then please submit a ticket to the help desk (link on top of page). Also, be sure to check any spam/junk folders in the email account you choosed to have the details sent to. You have been through this before, so you know you have to receive an e-mail receipt from where you paid, and TCH has to likewise receive payment, before you get set up.
