Hi, am completely new to web building. I have uploaded my main home page to /www/ and it is working. Have raised a subdomain and want to upload to it but can't seem to get the address correct. Can anyone help?

The first thing you need to do is go into cPanel and create a subdomain. You will give it the name of the subdomain and it will create a folder in your "public_html" folder. You should set to publish to "public_html" and not the "www" folder which is a link to the "public_html" folder.

Once you have the subdomain created in cpanel and can access it you can publish to "subdomain.******" or "www.youdomain.com/subdomain".

If the setup for publishing is like an ftp program

host = ftp.domain.ext

remote dir = public_html

for a subdomain

try setting the remote dir = public_html/subdomain
