I note in the Email Filtering setup on Cpanel that it appears possible to invoke a script or program via email by filtering incoming email to "|home/www/prog..." instead of discarding or forwarding it.

 

Has anyone successfully achieved this?

 

I have a need to have one email address which when a mail arrives will call a Perl script to process the contents of that mail.

 

Any feedback would be appreciated
