Upgrading Phpbb

Hey, all --

 

I ported my site, http://www.amysedaris.com, over to TCH a few months ago. IIRC, I re-created my existing PhpBB board in Cpanel over here and then restored the backup from my other host. I think.

 

Anyway, I'd like to upgrade my current PhpBB install, which is 2.0.2, using Cpanel. However, where it says "Upgrade an existing installation," my existing install is not in the pull-down list.

 

Any ideas? Will I have to do this upgrade manually?

P.S. Any idea why email notification of replies doesn't seem to work for me?

I ran into the same thing with the advanced guestbook

I installed it myself, so cpanel did not see the installation and would not upgrade for me.

And I had to upgrade it myself also.

 

 

for the e-mail replys, check each area of your forum "My Controls" for e-mail options.
