CAMPPAIN

well i found out the problem with the pictures not showing up and found the link to my wav file but it wont play it cause its stating its corrupt . this is the file just in case anyone wants to see if it works for them http://www.camppain.com/music/hiphop.wav the counter doesnt work even if i try to rename it still as advised in another topic on here. all i get is the infamous red x of death

ok now my pictures wont show up and ask for a log in and password! wtf! I have them in my public html folder under pictures. also i uploaded a .wav file into the public.html file under music and i cant get it to play nor can i get the properties of it!

i copied the html code down the count down and the time works but not the counter.

First the problems........ Guestbook AND counter 1. How can I access the guestbook? I made an advanced guestbook, and when i try to log in it says invalid password. I don't even remember puttin in a name and pass. 2. My counter doesn't work. I saw the one topic on the counter on here and tryed to rename my counter but it wouldn't even rename. The counter doesnt work.

Ok this is what I did with Lianna's help. I went into file manager>public html> I deleted the existing index.html file Uploaded the index.html.txt file i had in my notepad on my computer. Then I clicked on the index.html.txt file hit rename, and changed the file to just index.html! Viola!

Lianna's advice was correct! The reply and email in properties was set to just "camppain" instead of camppain@camppain.com Still figuring out about setting up my pages and site..... Don't worry I'm not giving up, its totally different and new to me (frustrating also ) but I'll get it one day.

still lost ive been reading up on stuff..... still confused my emails dont work, I can send messages but dont recieve any in both outlook and using the ones provided online I feel like a total n00by

I believe you hit it on the head Liana! iirc it was page builder. I have dreamweaver but have never used it only once. I will attempt to get some tutorials for dreamweaver online and try the ftp thingy.

Cool thanks Head Guru. I want to know where the heck do I put my html codes in to design a page? I hope this doesnt sound general. Also I'm having problems trying to setup my email account on outlook, I read your faq about that and still no go..... I'm going to take some tie this weekend or tomorrow to look everything over, I spent most of the morning going thru the cpanel, but to no avial.

Ok now I had my site up on sitegem.com for free and It was simple. I would just type in the html codes and java I wanted and knew and hit submit. Page created. I have no problems with ***** and it looks great, I'm just confused at all the different options. I've looked thru the faq, anyone? Sorry for sounding like a n00b
