Unable To Order Online? Domain Already In Use?

To Whom It May Concern:

 

I tried ordering one of the hosting packages on-line but was having trouble getting my credit card authorized. I moved recently and had my bank switch the address on my card, but it won't take either address I tried.

 

When I tried a different card that I know has the correct address on it, I received an error saying I tried too many times and would have to start over. Fair enough.

 

Now, after I started over, I can't get past the second step that's verifying I already own the domain I'm signing up with. The error message I receive says the "domain is already used on this system." This didn't happen the first time I tried and had trouble with my credit card's address.

 

Can anyone help? To make a long story short, while trying to find a new provider for my business, we ran into FeaturePrice.com. WHAT A MISTAKE.

 

I now want to try TCH and figured I'd move my personal site over to test your service out.

 

I'm trying to sign up for the silver/monthly with the regalmedia.com domain. I am the owner of this domain and will take care of the name server switch myself.

 

Any help would be much appreciated,

Hang in there. I am just a customer myself, so I can't help you, but I can tell you that as a reseller that moved to TCH less than 2 months ago, I LOVE TCH and service is great. If you've not already gotten this taken care of, try the Help Desk, where you can do a trouble ticket and someone will take care of it pretty quickly.

 

Don't let this hiccup turn you off -- I am very satisfied with my TCH experience (and I've had a few little issues, but they've been taken care of quickly!).

Actually, after I posted my question, I checked my email and received a message saying the order was received with a link to make the payment. Everything is working fine now.

 

I'm awaiting my new account to be set up.

 

So far, so good. Besides, no one could be any worse than the schlocks at FeaturePrice!

I can't help as I don't work for TCH, but I can say you made the right choice, I have a site here and they have been super! sorry for the trouble, but it will be worth your time!

I'm a recent convert to TCH too, and I must say, after having several other providers, I'm VERY glad I made the switch. I've learned more here in a week from people on the discussion boards than I have in the past year and a half with other hosts...and I have a LOT to learn! :)

No need to worry about a thing here. TCH's staff and customers will be there for you if you ever need anything. It's a big family here!

 

I myself got a bad host last year before I moved over to TCH. It wasn't FeaturePrice, but it was quite bad too. First 15 days was quite stable and fast, but after that I kept seeing downtime. sometimes it would go down for more than 12 hours per day! Their technical support kept insisting it was a problem on my end, but checking it from online webmaster services revealed otherwise.

 

I was wary about moving to TCH, seeing the low prices made me think about my old host. But they sure proved me wrong! Great price, great features, great community! You'd see! :)
