A few times over the past few months I've had private messages sent to me from one member or another letting me know they are being harassed by another forum member .

This is unacceptable, if you dont like something someone has to say or feel that it is not appropriate for the forums talk to a moderator about it. Do not take it upon yourself to harass the person into changing whatever it is you find offensive

Stuff like this will not be tolerated and could in fact result in being banned from the forums.

I have no problem with family members bringing an issue up to me via PM, so if you've got something that's bugging you, please bring it to me (Or any other able and willing moderator). The definition of moderator is someone that moderates. An in-between, if you will.

Chiming in here as well.

This is just one of the reasons we are here... for you. It is our responsibility to deem what is apropriate for the forums. This is not a place for vigilantism or harassment... in any form.

I think that we make ourselves quite available to you all, for any question, comment or concern you may have. Let us do our job, so your experience here can remain fun and maybe a little educational.

Hi,

TCH people here do take all care of banning words and stuff which would break the Family Laws.

Infact i myself is not been able to start a Fonts Forum due to such issues, and iam not able to find a suitable person to be appointed as Moderator Yet.

I just want to say that I've never felt harrassed here or anything. I've noticed that there are times when a post borders on unsuitable content or tone, and a staff member or moderator steps in to bring things back to order.

I think the entire TCH staff does a wonderful job here. I'm sorry that this forum topic had to be started, but I see it as being a good preventative medicine to keep tempers from flaring.

Thanks to all the TCH staff and moderators for keeping our family forums a professional place to meet, chat, and exchange ideas.

I'll sign that one, too, Kasey. To all the Staff and Mods - your time and effort on our behalf is greatly appreciated. Thank you! Thumbs Up
