Fake Spam Alerts

Hi,

never sent mails since last few days, Even didn't worked online for these days as i was quite busy with offline tasks.

Still iam getting lots of mail delivery failure notices and one of mails stated that

Dear user of Gohindi.com gateway e-mail server,

 

Some of our clients complained about the spam (negative e-mail content)

outgoing from your e-mail account. Probably, you have been infected by

a proxy-relay trojan server. In order to keep your computer safe,

follow the instructions.

 

For details see the attach.

 

For security purposes the attached file is password protected. Password is "21477".

 

This mail Had a ZIP attached which contained the worm too.

Just had a narrow escape

Hi,

 

This is a virus W32/Bagle-H is an email worm which sends itself via its own SMTP engine to addresses harvested from your hard disk. The worm searches for files with the extensions WAB, TXT, HTM, XML, DBX, MDX, EML, NCH, MMF, ODS, CFG, ASP, PHP, PL, ADB, TBB and SHT and uses the files to extract the recipient and the sender email addresses (therefore the sender email address is spoofed) .

 

My guess is that from what you say, you have not got the virus, but someone who you know has, and it is spoofing your email address. There are a lot of these about at the moment.

Since you are not the one infected there is not much help anyone can give you.

Bout all you can do is sit back hope it ends soon.

thanks, i just wanted to let you know cause few of those mails stated possiblity of mail server being infected, however i personally trust TCH and this would never happen here.

 

Do i need to say Again Re-sellers are happy with TCH
