ThumpAZ
According to CNN.com, Ozzy Osbourne may never perform again. Another sad day in music if you ask me. A legend in his own time and now he is not able to perform thanks to an accident on a four-wheel ATV. www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/Music/02/19/people.osbourne.reut/index.html sniff sniff

TCH-Dick
I met Ozzy at Ozzfest in houstin a few years ago, hes an awesome guy. Will be to bad if he has to stop, but heck, he is getting older and after so many years of the abuse he put his body through back in the day added about 10-15 years, his body may be 55 physically, but I bet he has the health of someone 65-
DarqFlare
Man, that totally sucks! I hope he can perform again man... A true legend like him needs to perform right to his grave! [waits anxiously for Van Halen and Sammy Hagar to regroup]
TCH-Dick
[waits anxiously for Van Halen and Sammy Hagar to regroup] I cant believe you just said that VanHagar was HORRID!!!!! There is only one true van halen and that is with david lee roth.
ThumpAZ
But David Lee Roth has totally lost it, man. He is worse off in the head than Ozzy if you ask me. Saw some footage of a tour he and Hagar were doing together and he barely remembered where he was, let alone the words tot he songs. I like both renditions of Van Halen, and would more than happy to see either of them put out some new stuff... Nothing like Jump and When It's Love... both awesome, and both from different leads for a great band.
TCH-Sales
Not to get off subject, but I just have to agree with Mike on this one! David Lee Roth made Van Halen!
TCH-Dick
I hated Jump, that was VH worst album ever...I like the old stuff like unchained, running with the devil etc.
DarqFlare
Boo! Boo! 'Tis all about Van Hagar! Actually, I like all VH, save for Van Cherone... I just think that Roth wouldn't be a good fit for the band now, and that even a reunion with Hagar would still be successful. The song Right Now is great. Not to take away from DLR, he was a good singer. Back then.
Adamski
Sure most of you know this already but Ozzy is not retiring, he's doing Ozzfest as normal in July. Yay! Thumbs Up
DarqFlare
Yeap, I heard that today! Good stuff!
Head Guru
I am sorry guys.... Ozzy is 55 years old. I think thats all I need to say.
ThumpAZ
I agree HG, he is getting on up there. I was just wishing that when he did finally retire it would be because he was just ready to do so... not because he had a tragic accident that made it impossible for him to do so. You know.. quit 'cuase you want to, not 'cause you have to. Additionally, I like both common renditions of Van Halen. But DLR has just lost it, man, really. All of the music from back in the day by those guys is just really good driving music (cruising in the 350Z at breakneck speeds on a twisty canyon road to Hot For Teacher... Saweet!) curtis
To update Van Halen: Van Halen and Sammy Hagar start their 2004 Summer tour June 11th. I think the first show is in North Carolina.
DarqFlare
I KNOW! AHH! AND THEY'RE COMING TO LAS VEGAS! Read all about it doing a Google News Search on Van Halen. Good stuff, I will be seeing their show in Vegas, come hell, high water, or having to sell my new laptop do go!
